During the termite inspection we look for any accessible evidence of termites or other wood destroying organisms such as carpenter ants, carpenter bees, wood boring beetles, wood fungus, and dry rot.
The inspector is required to report all evidence of these organisms, damage caused by these organisms, and any conditions on your property that might create a vulnerability to these organisms.
Free Termite Inspections
We offer free termite inspections as long as the home is not for sale, in escrow, or in a loan process. We’ll search the entire premises including the foundation in order to discover if your property requires treatment. Once we discover the source of your infestation, we will make sure to go over all of your available options to find what works best for you.
We charge a minimal fee for multi-unit complexes and commercial complexes and we charge $175-$250 on average for a termite report for a Real Estate transaction or VA loan. If the work is done, the fee falls into the quote and is subtracted from the total of the original quote given by the licensed inspector.

- One of our highly-trained inspectors will come out at a time convenient to you and do a thorough inspection of your home. The inspection includes probing the eves and other accessible wood members of the home, walking around the exterior and through the interior of the home, as well as climbing up into the attic and crawling into any accessible subareas of the home.
- Once the inspection is completed, our representative will go over your options for treatment with you and provide you with a detailed termite report that includes a diagram of the termite evidence and damage as well as an estimate for the termite treatments and any needed repairs.
